Notary services: certified true copies, powers of attorney & more

We coordinate certified true copies, powers of attorney, affidavits and signature authentications with authorised professionals — and combine them with translation and apostille when needed.

Many procedures abroad require a document to be certified before it can be used: a copy certified as a true copy of the original, a signature witnessed and authenticated, or a power of attorney drafted in the right form and language.

We prepare your documents, arrange the appointment with an authorised notary, lawyer or commissioner, and make sure the result meets the requirements of the receiving authority — including bilingual powers of attorney (English/French or other languages).

Notarial acts are often the first step towards an apostille or embassy legalization. Because we handle the whole chain, nothing is missed between steps.

Frequently asked questions

What is a certified true copy?

A copy of an original document that an authorised person has compared with the original and certified as a true and complete copy. Many authorities accept it instead of the original.

Can you draft a power of attorney for use abroad?

Yes. We can prepare or translate the power of attorney, including bilingual versions, and arrange signing, apostille or legalization so it is valid in the destination country.

Do I need to be present for signing?

For powers of attorney, affidavits and signature authentication, the signatory generally has to be present in person with valid ID. We tell you exactly what to bring.
